USCG licensed Master Captain
I was born in Charleston, SC and grew up in Columbia. My father taught me to fly fish at a young age, in trout streams and bass ponds. I moved back to Charleston to attend college, and it was then that my passion for saltwater fly fishing developed. Throughout college I spent every chance I could on the water, learning as much as possible. After graduating from the honors college at College of Charleston, I got my captain's license and began working full time as a guide.
Fishing is done from a Maverick 17' HPX Micro - This is an incredibly diverse technical skiff able to fish in less than 5 inches of water, yet equally capable of handling rough open waters with a safe, smooth, and comfortable ride.
